A Timeless All-White Wedding At The Wythe Hotel That Reimagined Seasonal Spring Wedding Flowers For Fall
•BROOKLYN, NY
THE VISION
For this fall wedding at the Wythe Hotel, initially inspired by delicate spring flowers, we honed in on the beloved details of densely petaled wedding flowers and subtle nuances to identify similar varieties for fall. With a meticulously chosen selection of what was available seasonally, these limitations sparked a creative use of flowers to perfectly complement this couple’s sophisticated vision expertly planned by Dawn of DM Events.

THE BOUQUET
In lieu of traditional large focal flowers, we embraced delicate smaller elements for this all-white bridal bouquet. Upon examining the bride’s inspiration, predominantly featuring spring flowers, we identified a recurring theme of densely petaled blooms with happy yellow centers. With two types of Lisianthus and buttercup ranunculus, we carefully manipulated the petals to reveal their centers, adding depth and introducing a subtle color contrast reminiscent of blooming flowers. Lepidium, a sprouting pepperweed and the bride’s favorite, provided textural interest that harmonized naturally with the stemmona vine - an intentional choice to create a whimsical touch.
THE CEREMONY
For the ceremony flowers at the Wythe Hotel, we embraced a different approach for the chuppah. Rather than choosing smaller flowers, we used lush greenery as the foundation and integrated larger focal blooms to evoke a luxurious garden-inspired look. Garden roses, imported peonies, delphinium, and fragrant stems of stock were arranged in dense clusters asymmetrically, providing an elegant frame for the couple as they exchanged vows.
THE RECEPTION
A whimsical ceiling greenery installation adorned the reception at the Wythe Hotel, with long vines cascading from above, intentionally evoking an outdoor ambiance while filling the space. Rectangular centerpieces adorned each table, brimming with sweetpea - a total of 400 stems to be exact. Clusters of bud vases of differing heights complemented the centerpieces, while decorative votives illuminated by taper candles added a warm and elegant ambiance to the meticulously designed vision by Dawn of DM Events.
